Biographical / Historical

The scaffolding was erected as part of the start of a ten year rolling programme of repairs to conserve the stonework and glass, including repair and some restoration work. It was based around the Quinquennial report which appeared around 2003. The "AA" repairs and survey work was carried out in 2007 and this scaffolding was for the commencement of larger scale work which was expected to be finished in January 2009.
