Design for 4-light freestanding candelabrum, 1864 - 1871
Scope and Contents
This is probably one of the pair of candelabra ('brass standards') designed by George Gilbert Scott Jr, made in 1872 by Barkentin, and purchased with funds from Messrs. Bryan, Wayte and Witt. A pair of candelabra of a design very similar to this drawing are seen in KCC/472 and other photographs of the Chapel.
