Scope and Contents
Bundle of conveyances of freehold land in the Copse Wood estate and other property in Ruislip. Contains copies of documents corresponding to entries in the ledger book (KCAR/3/3/1/1/26 and KCAR/3/3/1/1/27) referring to Ruislip unnumbered conveyances. Comprises:
-Sale of freehold land part of Copse Wood Estate, in the Urban District of Ruislip, Northwood, Middlesex. (1) having a frontage of 100 feet to a new road called Copse Wood Way, (2) having a frontage of 70 feet to Copse Wood Way, (3) having a frontage of 165 feet to Copse Wood Way and a frontage of 111 feet 6 inches to a proposed new road leading out of Copse Wood Way, (4) piece of land lying at the rear of the gardens of dwellinghouses in Linksway.
-To the Urban District Council of Ruislip – Northwood. Bulwarks Field and other lands at Ruislip
-Sale of freehold land part of Copse Wood Estate (1) frontage of 194 feet and 3 inches to Copse Wood Way, (2) frontage of 90 feet to proposed road from Ducks Hill towards Ruislip, (3) frontage of 40 feet to Linksway, (4) frontage of 143 feet to Linksway.
-King’s College Cambridge and F. H. Fryer Esquire to W. J. Hammond Esquire. Piece of land in St. Martin’s Approach. Frontage of 35 feet to westerly side of road.
-Sale of freehold land part of Copse Wood Estate. (1) Having a frontage of 80 feet to a new road known as Copse Way, (2) having a frontage of 90 feet to a proposed new road leading from Ducks Hill Road towards Ruislip. (3) having a frontage of 100 feet to a road called Linksway.
-To Mr. W. and Mrs. F. Lavender. Freehold land situate at Cannon Bridge in Bury Street (1 acre 1 rood and 30 perches)
-To Leslie Arthur Bristow Esquire. A piece of land near Parkway. Frontage of 70 feet to a proposed new road
-King’s College Cambridge and Captain A. P. Howard to Mr G. W. Rickerton. A Piece of land and dwelling house in Bury Street. Frontage of 29 feet to north-easterly side of Bury Street
