Scope and Contents
The press cuttings have been removed from The Times, 'C.L.' (Country Life) and The Architect and Building News. Also includes a postcard showing a portrait of King Henry VI, held at the National Portrait Gallery. Topics covered in these items include coaches missing from King's College and Eton College; Founder's Day commemorations, the cleaning and restoration of King's College Chapel; the Rubens and Hawksmoor's plans. The cutting from Country Life is an advertisement for Messrs. M. Knowedler and Co. Inc. and shows a painting of 'King's College Chapel, Library and part of Senate House, Cambridge' as seen from the north end of King's Parade, by Malton.
