Draft valor of the Priory of Deerhurst estates for when they were in the custody of Eton and King's College.
Scope and Contents
The dispute concerned custody of 3 Gloucestershire manors: Welford, Preston-on-Stour and Little Compton [now in Warwickshire] which belonged to the alien Priory of Deerhurst. At the same time Eton disputed possession of Taynton with La More, Oxfordshire, also in the possession of Deerhurst. Tewkesbury won.
