Choristers and buildings photographs, 1989 - 2003
Scope and Contents
This file comprises the following items. Those marked with an asterisk (*) are best consulted as copies in CMR/251/2:
- * 27 x black and white 35 mm negatives of the choristers outdoors, taken at various sites between the Backs and the Front Court, numbered 2/11-20 and 1/0-1, 1/21-30, 1/32-36;
- black and white proof sheets of negatives numbered 1/21-30, 1/32-36, and 2/11-20;
- * approximately A5 size prints of negative numbers 1/21-23,1/25, 1/27, 1/32, 1/34, 1/36, 2/0-1 (two copies each, no negatives), 2/11-12, 2/14, 2/16, 2/17 (two copies), 2/20, 2/23-24 (no negatives), 2/33 (no negative), and two unknown negatives, and the label 'Kings College Choir 1989' which adorned the album in which they were received;
- * 2 x colour postcards, one showing the choristers at the fountain with the Chapel in the background and one [taken from Great St Mary's tower] showing ranks of scholars walking from the Gatehouse towards Senate House on graduation day;
- * 19 x 35 mm colour transparencies (slides) of the choristers in College grounds, October 1989;
- * 19 x 35 mm colour transparencies (slides) of College buildings including four shots of the inside of Chapel;
- * 5 x 35 mm colour transparencies (slides) of a supervision;
- * 1 x 35 mm colour transparency (slide) of a Fellow's office;
- * 3 x 35 mm colour transparencies (slides) of the graduate suite;
- * 3 x 35 mm colour transparencies (slides) of a concert in the Keynes lecture hall;
- 30 x 120 (62 mm) colour negatives (1992) and * 10 digital positives from amongst them, of the room above the arch in the Gibbs building, several of which include Iain Fenlon;
- * 22 x 120 (62mm) colour transparencies of College buildings including the Wilkins building and screen, Chapel in the snow and in the sunshine, and interior shots of the Chapel ceiling (taken at 8 AM in February), East end, and organ case (numbers 3,9,17 are of the organ and roof lit by the BBC);
- * 12 x 120 (62mm) colour transparencies of the dining hall at lunchtime and [electronic] proof sheet of same, 2003.
