Chapel Consultative Committee minutes, 1957 - 1966
Scope and Contents
The Chapel Consultative Committee was originally set up during the Deanship of Alec Vidler. In 1990 Council established a Chapel Revenue Committee, which ceased to meet after the introduction of charging and the refurbishment of the Chapel shop. The Chapel Committee was set up in 1998 'to consider all matters other than the form and conduct of worship relating to the use of the Chapel, including adornment and alterations to the fabric (where these pertain to its use)'. In 2001 another paper was submitted to Council regarding setting up a Chapel Committee, with the same terms as reference as those for the 1998 Committee.
