Scope and Contents
Papers comprise mainly correspondence about copyright permissions and accessions, including letters concerning the bequest of J. W. Carter; the acquisition of T. S. Eliot material from the library of F. V. Morley; access to the papers of E. M. Forster; work on the Collected Letters of E. M. Forster by Lago and Furbank; letters concerning potential donations to the library by D. H. Miller-Barstow, A. S. Oswald and Neville Temperley; a description of the Old Vicarage, Grantchester by Mary Archer and a job description for the Modern Literary Archivist, 1977. Papers concerning arrangements for the Library Christmas party and a small number of routine enquiries have been removed.
