Licence by William Aiscough, Bishop of Salisbury, to King's College, for the appropriation of the Iwerne Minster prebend (also mentioning prebend of Chalk, Wiltshire). The Bishop's seal is attached.

Description of seal

Quantity: 1 seal.
Attachment: Pendant on green cord.
Colour: Brown.
Damage: 1. Slight damage.
Shape and size: 72mm x 47mm. Vesica-shaped.
Impression(s) and single or double-sided: 2 seated, crowned figures being Jesus and Mary in a triple tabernacle with canopies above each figure, a dove between them and above the dove a winged figure in a canopied tabernacle. Figure on the right (Jesus) is holding the orb and sceptre. Smaller figures in canopied tabernacles are on the outside of the central figures. Drapery in background. Below main image are: (on the left) the royal coat of arms (lower left and upper right quadrants 3 lions; lower right and upper left quadrants 3 fleur de lis), (in the centre) a bishop seated in an alcove, and (on the right) coat of arms with chief bearing 2 asses, 1 ass below, separated by horizontal stripe. There is a legend. Single-sided.
Other (contemporary): Initially protected by a now-damaged wax cup.
