Scope and Contents

Photographs of the Chapel, Fellows' garden, front and back lawns after snow; Provost's garden; plantings along the path towards Queen's Road; Fellows' garden plantings; gardeners including Duncan Baxter (head gardener) at the (NGS) National Gardens Scheme open day 2005 with 'Hal' Dixon; the Chapel west end and Gibbs building; and various lawns during very dry weather. Some negatives are included. Also included is a photograph of Queen Elizabeth signing the ?Provost's guest book, 1991.

Biographical / Historical

The earlier photos were probably taken by Frank Gifford (head gardener 1968-86) and the later photos were taken by Duncan Baxter (head gardener 2005-).
