Orders of service for special services to mark particular religious festivals, civic occasions or visits of VIPs. File includes services for the coronation of King George V and Queen Mary, 22 June 1911; the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth, 13 May 1937; evacuated schools, 6 May 1940; thanksgiving after victory, 1945; and a dedication on the coronation of Elizabeth II, 17 May 1953.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
The 2 June 1953 order of service for the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II at Westminster Abbey was transferred from the Chapel Administrator in August 2010. The 22 June 1911 order of service for the coronation of Queen Mary was given by David Adamson in June 2019. [The other documents were transferred by the Chapel Administrator prior to 2000.]
