Edward Betham's accounts, 1724 - 1770
Scope and Contents
Lists incoming and outgoing monies, and an annual reckoning with the other bursars. A clipping of a table comparing Portuguese and English money is enclosed. From the other end of the book are recorded details of the Chest account, library, chapel and other domus expenses. Also enclosed are three 1724 notes about leases, one for St James Priory, one for Sampford Courtenay and one for Ogbourne.
