Bursars' rough cash books, 1703 - 1711
Scope and Contents
Page headings are as in the mundum and Particulars books, usually including Recept[iones] Forinsec[eca], Resolutio Redit[tus], Pensiones et Vadia, Solutiones pro Comm[ons Sept] (separated into costs for 'bovinum, piscium, carbonum'), Solutiones pro Exequiis Fundatoris, Expensae Necessariae, Expensae Ecclesiae, Feoda et Regarda, Reparationes apud Cantabr[igia], and Custus Stabuli. Also lists amount received from each manor quarterly, signed debt notes (IOUs) and receipts, alms, debtor and creditor rolls. Money received and money spent are listed by amount, date and description such as 'Woodcock the bricklayer' or 'Borrowed of Mr Donne' These rough cash books are mostly in English.
