Copy of the 'Founder's Statutes', 1824
Scope and Contents
Volume is in unlabelled 19th century leather binding. It is inscribed by Wm Hunt, Second Bursar, 1824, 'This copy of the statutes was written by Benjamin Sheppard Esq. for his own use. He was one year Vice Provost and for many years one of the Deans of Arts. He made another copy & gave it for the use of the College. This copy fell into my hands as his executor when he died the Senior Fellow in Aug. 1824 & I shall leave it for the use of the 2nd bursar of King's College.'
