Biographical / Historical
The Pavilion was originally built in the 1890s as the cricket pavilion for King's College and Clare College. In 1925 the area which contained the cricket ground was sold to the University but the Pavilion was kept by the College and used for Fellows' accommodation. It now forms the house for the headmaster of King's College School.
