Biographical / Historical
Lands in Fordingbridge and the advowson of the church there were granted to King's College in 1447 by Henry VI, after being given to the Crown by Humphrey, Duke of Buckingham. The founder's grant is kept under KCAR/6/2/64/6 Title Deeds FOR/7.
