Biographical / Historical

The priory of Docking was an alien cell of the Abbey of Ivry, Normandy, and was part of the Foundation endowment of Eton College by Henry VI. It is possible that this document relates instead to Creake Abbey, of which Robert de Docking was cellarer and later Abbot.
