Biographical / Historical
Cheshunt manor was granted to the College by Henry VI in 1459, following the death of Elizabeth Norbury. The church advowson there was also released to the College by Mrs Norbury's daughter-in-law, Lady Say. The deeds are kept under KCAR/6/2/34/2 Title deeds CHE/5-6.
