Biographical / Historical
The advowson and patronage of Chalk prebend, formerly property of the abbess of Wilton, was granted to the College first by Henry VI in 1448, then confirmed by a licence of Edward IV in 1475. The original deeds are kept under KCAR/6/2/31/7 Title deeds.
