Scope and Contents

Mainly printed and mimeographed papers for Council, Governing Body and the Electors to Fellowships Committee. Also includes:-
-printed 'Information for Candidates for Admission' to King's (several copies, undated and including some printed drafts for 1908-9);
-printed information and regulations for the combined entrance examination for Pembroke, Gonville and Caius, King's, Jesus, Christ's, St John's and Emmanuel Colleges 1905;
-printed lists of 'recommendations' (names of those awarded scholarships) in the joint examinations for 1907 and 1908, entrance exam candidates for June and October 1905 and March and June 1907;
-printed 'Instructions to Students' (Revised Draft) 1905;
-printed examination paper [in Classics] for 1906;
-autograph manuscript draft of Council paper concerning Statute E II 3;
-printed lists of junior members (late called gate lists; 1903-4 to 1905-6, 1908-9);
-copy typescript lists of 'non-residents who will probably vote' (1907), and those allowed to vote at the 1905 praeposital election (with manuscript annotations indicating how each voted);
-printed leaflets concerning a testimonial for Dr. A.H. Mann and the memorial to Augustus Austen Leigh;
-mimeograph typescript request from the Provost to Fellows and resident MA members for material for the 'achievements of members' section of the Annual Report, 1905 and 1908;
-printed accounts for the Amalgamation Club 1903-4 and 1905-6;
-autograph manuscript notes on the Commemoration of Benefactors service with draft order of service and hymns, and printed list of benefactors (1907);
-autograph manuscript note about a subscription from the Charity Fund to the Eastern Counties Asylum [1908];
-printed annual report of the King's College Social Work Committee (1908);
-autograph manuscript notes [concerning the head porter's pay].
