Scope and Contents
Brooke Foss Westcott (1825-1901) was a biblical scholar and Fellow of Trinity College, Cambridge. He was the Cambridge Regius Professor of Divinity from 1870. In 1882 he was elected the first Professorial Fellow of King's College under the new statutes. From 1890 until his death he was the bishop of Durham.
