Scope and Contents
Photogravure print of a portrait of an unknown man. The portrait is by John Collier, 1897 and may be a self-portrait. The gentleman is seated with his right elbow resting on the arm of the chair and his hands folded in front of his buttoned dinner jacket which sports a flower in the buttonhole. He has close-cropped receding grey hair and a goatee. Part of a fireplace is visible behind his left shoulder.
