Scope and Contents
George Thackeray (1777-1850) came up to King's from Eton in 1796. He was Provost from 1814 until his death. His daughter gave his considerable library to the College upon his death. This print from the picture by F Joseph was 'drawn on stone by R J Lane' and printed by M & N Hanhart.
