Dampier, Thomas, 1821 - 1900
Scope and Contents
Thomas Dampier (bap. 1749, d. 1812), came up to King's in 1731. He was an avid book collector. He eventually became Bishop of Ely. This mezzotint by Henry Meyer is from an 1812 portrait by James Northcote.
