Coxe, William, 1805 - 1828
Scope and Contents
William Coxe (1748-1828), historian and Church of England clergyman, was at Eton College 1754-64 and came up to King's in 1765. In 1805 he was made archdeacon of Wiltshire. This is a photogravure print of an engraving by Robert Dunkarton after a painting by Sir William Beechey.
