Scope and Contents
William Cooke (bap. 1711, d. 1797) came up to King's as a scholar from Eton in 1730. He was Head Master at Eton 1743-5, Provost of King's 1772-97, Dean of Ely from 1780. This engraving was made from a drawing by S. Harding. The file also contains two letters from 1952-3 regarding purchase of the engraving.
