Choristers walking through College, 1910-07 - 1955-12-27
Scope and Contents
Three snapshots of choristers in gowns and top hats:
- walking on the path just east of the river with Clare College in the background
- walking along the path just east of the Gibbs building with the Wilkins building in the background, and
- walking along the west path by the river with the Gibbs and Wilkins buildings in the background.
Some choristers are named. Also present are two draft letters from Hilda MacMichael to Ethel Parsons (widow of chorister Leonard John Parsons) and a reply from Ethel to Hilda with envelope, all written in late 1955.

Biographical / Historical
Humphrey MacMichael (b. 1890, d. by late 1955) and his sister Hilda moved with their mother Sophie, nee Curzon, to Cambridge after their father's death in 1905. Humphrey was an undergraduate at Magdalene when he took the photographs.
One of the choristers in the photographs is Leonard John Parsons (d. Nov. 1955).

Hilda gave the items to her niece who gave them to a relation J Roberts who gave them to King's in July 2018.
