Two impressions from the College seal, 1888 - 1896

Scope and Contents
The first impression shows its original state prior to alteration in 1448, the second shows the subsequent condition of the matrix. The seal was first engraved in 1443. Includes manuscript notes by Prof. Middleton on the back, and typescript notes in an attached frame, explaining the history of the seal.
