Scope and Contents

F.L. Clarke was employed variously as Bursar's clerk and sub Librarian at King's, 1872-1927. During this time he interested himself greatly in the College's history and acted in effect as College archivist. In addition to collating and rebinding College archives, Clarke extracted prodigious quantities of information from the records to answer queries about former members, the College site, its accounts, estates, livings etc.
