Council, 1861 - 2012
Scope and Contents
The Council decides on matters regarding the routine administration of the College. Comprising Fellows and student representatives, it meets more regularly than the Congregation and discusses a broad range of issues. In later records, there is a division between closed items on the agenda, which contain sensitive discussions, and open business. In consequence, some of the recent volumes of minutes will not be available to researchers.
