King's College Chapel, 1937 - 1962

 File
Reference Code: GBR/0272/JS/4/12

Scope and Contents

Wooden box marked 'E', containing lantern slides for a lecture on King's College Chapel. The images in slides numbered KC 1-34 appeared in three chapters in 'Country Life', in May 1926, although they have used additional images. Some of the numbers in the top right corners of the slides seem to match those annotated in pencil with a circle around them in Saltmarsh's typescript lecture notes (JS/1/22/5). KC.42-47 appear to beling to the same sequence as those in JS/4/12 but were stored separately due to their size. Also includes a 'Wellington 'Xtra [sic] speedy plate' box marked 'Autochromes: Chapel' and 'KC. 42-47' and three empty sleeves numbered 48-50.
