Scope and Contents
Maps and engravings formerly held between boards labelled by John Saltmarsh as in title. Includes plates of engravings by Richard Lyne (1574), John Hammond (1592), David Loggan (1688) and William Custance (1798), as well as Ordnance Survey maps of Cambridge & Cambridgeshire with autograph manuscript annotations (1923 and 1927), a Cambridge and District Footpaths Map (1936), Britain in the Dark Ages (1935) and various geological maps. The file also includes a painting of John Saltmarsh in acrylics on board, undated and without signature.
