Scope and Contents
This file includes official reports of meetings; drafts of a memorial proposing an international loan; typescript memoranda by J.M. Keynes on the exchange value of the mark; certain commercial contracts between Germany and the USA; points of interpetation in the Reparation Chapter of the Peace Treaty, and the political and economic situation in Germany, all written 20 October 1919. It also includes typescript notes by J.M. Keynes on the meetings, 13-15 October and correspondence between J.M. Keynes and R.H. Brand, A. MacFadyean, J.A. Salter, J. Ter Meulen, G. Vissering and M. Warburg on the search for signatories to the memorial.
