Inscribed by Henry Ware Eliot Jnr., writing to T.S. Eliot, 'Mrs. Harvey's sister is a Helen Dudley, now in London, I think, preparing to join the Red Cross. She has written one or two good things in Poetry. Mrs. Harvey writes under her maiden name of Dorothy Dudley - See the issue of Poetry in which your own poem appeared. Henry Ware Eliot Jnr. and the Harvey family on my recent visit to Chicago. I made a visit of a week there in June.'
