Snapshot of Gerald Heard standing to the left on the verandah of Ham Spray House. His arms are crossed in front of his chest and he looks towards the camera. Roger Senhouse sits on the windowsill next to him, with his hands resting on a book on his lap, looking towards the camera. Also on the windowsill sits Lytton Strachey, with his left hand resting on his knee, looking towards the camera. To the right stands Francis Birrell, holding a cigarette in both hands in front of him, but his face partially cut off from the top of the photograph.
