Snapshot of Margaret White sitting to the left, with her back to the camera. Garrow Tomlin lies on his stomach on the grass next to her, and Frances Partridge reclines on her side opposite him. Near the camera to the right sits 'Pat Blac..et' (possibly Patrick Blackett), who rests on his left arm and looks to the left at Margaret White. In her album, Frances Partridge describes the image as 'Picnic up the River. The Long Term'.
