The files include references, application forms, reports and CVs for ERL's students, and papers relating to publications, lecture tours and membership of academic bodies. Files survive from at least 2 systems, a distinct break being made in 1966 on ERL's election as Provost of King's College, and in several different formats. However, it would appear that earlier sequences were incorporated into later for ease of reference. They are here arranged and described in one alphabetical list.
