Autograph manuscript memoir of E.M. Forster's relations with A.E. Housman. Expanded from the brief account in the Notebook Journal (EMF/11/1/1). This version was probably written for the Memoir Club, but a manuscript note on the first page by Charles John Morris suggests that it was written for 'one of the Cambridge societies'. Includes 'Ancient and Modern', a review of A.E. Housman's poems by E.M. Forster published in the 'Listener', 11 Nov. 1936.
