Scope and Contents
Unidentified man, probably Glenway Wescott, sitting in a deckchair looking away from the camera towards E.M. Forster, also sitting in a deckchair and looking to the left. A large lawn or field is around and behind them. Print, 12.8 x 9. Inscribed on back, in unidentified hand, '49 USA / "Stoneblossom"'. Stoneblossom (now destroyed) was Wescott's home in Clinton, New Jersey. The photograph was probably taken by Monroe Wheeler. (Sleeve 235)
