Photograph of the Maharajah of Dewas and his younger brother, Bhau Saheb. They are standing in a courtyard with the arches of a building and a tree behind them, wearing ceremonial robes and holding trays. Taken at Dewas, India. Print, 9.6 x 9.8. Inscribed on back, in same hand as 27/311, with names and 'Sacred Thread ceremony?'. One of the names is explained, in P.N. Furbank's hand, 'i.e. Maharajah of Dewas'. (Sleeve 124)
