Scope and Contents
Professional studio photograph of unidentified woman. The chain of a pince-nez visible round her neck. She is wearing a dark dress, white cravat and brooch at her throat, Head and shoulders. Taken in London and mounted on card, 27.9 x 19 (photograph 13.4 x 9.5). Inscribed on back of mount, in unidentified hand, possibly by the photographic studio, [or possibly 'Mrs. Aylward']. Possibly print made for Maimie Aylward of her mother or mother-in-law. (Sleeve 96)
