Photograph of William Howley Forster (1855-1910) standing in front of a wooden shingled building with a door and window, wearing a woollen cap, tweed jacket and trousers with striped seam. He is holding an animal in both hands and gazing over it to the right. A small dog is standing on the right. Taken at Stisted and mounted on card, 10.5 x 6.3 (photograph 8.9 x 5.5). Inscribed in album, by E.M. Forster, 'Uncle Willie' and inscribed on back, possibly by Laura Mary Forster, 'W.H. Forster / Stisted / 1871'. (Sleeve 22)
