Photograph of Harry Whichelo (1867-1904) seated in a wooden chair with his legs crossed, looking towards the camera. Behind him is a divan covered in a striped cloth with flowered cushions and a picture of a horse-drawn sledge resting on it. A gun leans against his chair and the panelled walls are decorated with pictures and a policeman's baton. He is wearing a white shirt, patterned tie, corduroy trousers and knee-high leather boots. Mounted on gold-edged card, 16.6 x 10.6 (photograph 15.3 x 10.3). Inscribed in album, by E.M. Forster, 'Uncle Harry'. (Sleeve 18)
