Immediate Source of Acquisition
The letter in 18/unidentified (3) was given by Dr. Kim Haag in June 2009. It was found tipped into a first edition of 'A Passage to India'. The letters in 18/unidentified (4) were enclosed in a first edition second impression of 'A Passage to India', bought from David's Bookshop in 2015, now King's College Library with shelfmark (Forster.FOR.Pas.1924g). The letter in 18/unidentified (5) was purchased from Paul Rassam in July 2015.
