This sub-series contains correspondence between E.M. Forster's mother, Alice, and her family and friends. By far the greatest part of the sequence is the first sub-series, which contains correspondence between mother and son. This is supplemented by other correspondence including letters from Alice Forster to her mother, Louisa Whichelo.
