Ralph N Bell was in the RAAF and stationed in Bottesford, England in bomber command during World War Two. During and after the war he travelled around England and collected postcards which he left to his son and daughter-in-law upon his death.
Immediate Source of Acquisition
In May 2024 the postcards were given by the Bells to the Chapel Administrator who transferred them to the archives.
General
The postcards all have inspirational messages from the Prime Minister printed on them, so were most likely printed during the second world war.
