Biographical / Historical
Richard M. Goodwin (1913 -1996) was an American mathematician and economist. He became a university lecturer in the Cambridge faculty of economics and politics in 1951 and taught there until 1979. After retiring from Cambridge, Goodwin became a professor of economics at the University of Siena, Italy.
