Scope and Contents
This series contains writings by Thomas Simms during his time as Librarian at Homerton. It contains compiled lists (boards, committees, staff and tutors), publications, histories, correspondence and biographies relating to Homerton's history, including:
- Handwritten ring bound booklet titled "A Register of Tutors and Lecturers at Institutions of the Congregational Board of Education, 1846 - 52, and at Homerton College 1852 - 1974"
- Handwritten booklet titled "A List of Tutors of Dissenting Academies to Which Students Supported by the Congregational Fund Board and the King's Head Society Were Sent, 1696 - 1768, and of the Tutors of Homerton College, 1768 - 1850".
- Handwritten booklet titled "Homerton College, Register of Lecturers Serving in 1974".
- Typewritten bound volume titled "Cavendish College" with handwritten map within binding and a one page note written in Simms' hand.
- Typewritten bound volume with Simms notations, titled "Homerton College 1695 - 1960".
- Typewritten document titled "Summary of Staff Publications, Research, Lectures etc. 1970 - 74".
- 2 Copies of a document titled "Academic Board Membership" between 1962 and 1975.
- 2 Copies (hard and soft cover) book, "Homerton College 1695 - 1978" by T.H. Simms (one with Simms inscription).
