Part i: Dorothy Aga-Oglu writes with regard to the estate of her late husband, Mehmet. She says she will offer her husband's research material to the Farouk I University and discusses the potential sale of his library. She asks for advice on the problems of editing Mehmet's Corpus of Islamic Metalwork manuscript. She offers to gift Mehmet's collection of reprints to the university.
