Scope and Contents

From the File:

The Argive Heraion, or Prosymna, tholos is a tomb ca. 4km to the south-east of Mycenae. It bears a close architectural resemblance to the Mycenae tholoi; Wace grouped it architecturally with the second group of tholos tombs, ca. 1500-1400 BC, according to his classification. A. J. B. Wace and his team investigated the dromos and chamber of this tomb in 1922.
